What are Testers or Unboxed items ?
Testers are manufacture bottles of the exact fragrance sold at a fraction of the retail price. Fragrance companies wat to promote their products and will manufacture Tester bottles to help increase the sale of the fragrance. We buy Tester bottles new in bulk quantity at a discounted price and pass the savings on to you the consumer. Tester packaging may very depending on the manufacturer. Some testers may come packaged in a plain white or brown box and with or without a cap. Some bottles may have “Tester or Demonstration” written on the bottle. These will in no way affect the overall quality of fragrance as testers have the same composition or make-up as the regular packaged item. Buying a tester is a great way to enjoy the same exact fragrance at a great price you will love.
What sizes are the miniature collectibles ?
Miniature sizes vary from .005 oz to .15 oz approximately 4ml – 15ml
What are the fragrance levels ?
Perfume is composed of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts diluted in water and high-grade alcohol. The composition of these oil extracts determines the level or “strength” of the fragrance which affects the lasting power of the scent. Below are the different fragrance levels.
Eau de Cologne or EDC -- least concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 1 hour)
Eau de Toilette or EDT -- concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 2 hours)
Eau de Parfum or EDP -- concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 3-4 hours)
Perfume or Parfum Classic -- highly concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 5-6 hours)

Do you match competitor prices ?
The Perfume Collection, Inc is able to pass along savings to you because of our tremendous purchasing power. This means our online customers enjoy savings up to 5-75% off the product’s retail prices. Our low price guarantee means that we will price match our competitor’s prices pending it meets the following requirements:
- Item is in stock.
- Item is exact product offered.
- Item is not a clearance or advertised special
- Item is not a discontinued item.
Instructions for price matching: When submitting your order, include in the comment section during the check out process the competing website’s URL for the products being price matched. The items final costs including the competitor’s shipping charges must be accounted when price matching the offer. We regret that we cannot price match offers you submit after placing your order with us.
Terms & Conditions: We reserve the right to modify this program at any time without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any product or limit quantities. We can only price match one competitor. We do not extend this policy to multiple competitors for one purchase. Our special offers including gift with purchase or free shipping over $100 does not apply with price matched offers.
Do you charge sales tax ?
The Perfume Collection, Inc. is a California based company. State law requires us to collect sales tax of 8.25% on all orders shipped within California. All orders outside of California are exempt from sales tax. If you are ordering outside of California and sales tax appears on your order, please change/check the “Shipping” destination on the shopping cart before you submit your order.
What are my shipping methods choices ?
We offer several shipping options for your convenience. Please see our shipping method chart below. Orders shipped by Standard Shipping will be shipped via the US postal Service, Fed-Ex, DHL, or UPS. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that your order will be shipped via a specific carrier when standard delivery option is chosen. If you ship to address is a PO Box, all order will be shipped via the US Postal Service.
Due to the Department of Transportation regulations, we have temporarily suspended all Expedited (2nd Day and Next Day Air) shipments of alcohol-based products including perfumes and aerosol spray cans. We regret any inconvenience this may cause at this time. Thank You

Some Things You Should Know:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable for unclaimed, undeliverable or returned packages, unless the mistake was a result of our error.
- A signature maybe required upon delivery
- Saturday Delivery (where available) is available for an additional $10.00 charge in addition to Next Day Air Charges.
- Holiday ordering - We highly suggest that you place your order at least 7-10 days before any major holiday to allow time for in time delivery.
- Our carriers DO NOT process orders one the weekends or Holidays. Therefore if you place an order after 1:00pm Pacific Time on Friday, Yu may experience a delay between your order shipped confirmation email and the actual shipment of your order.
- Orders shipped via Next Day Air are delivered Monday thru Friday only.
- International shipments will be shipped via USPS, DHL or UPS depending on the nature of products ordered.
How do I place an order?
To purchase an item online, simply click the “buy” button to the right of the item. When you have finished adding items to your order, click “checkout” to view and complete your order. Make any necessary adjustments to your order. To ensure prompt order processing, please fill out ALL required information. To finalize your order, click the “Submit Order” button. An order confirmation will be given to you and we recommend you print this page for your records. Please note that your billing address MUST be exactly the same as the billing address for your credit card. Orders without valid address verification may be delayed for further verification with your credit card bank. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet bank verification standards.

What are my payment methods choices ?

How do I check status on my order ?
For your convenience, The Perfume Collection will automatically send you updates regarding the status of your order via e-mail. You can also check the status of your order in our “Track Your Order” feature located on our home page. Go to “Track Your Order”
How do I get a tracking number ?
For your convenience, The Perfume Collection will send you an email with the tracking number and carrier information as soon as your order is processed and shipped. Please allow approximately 24 hours before tacking the package.
How can I change/modify an order ?
You may request a change to your order, provided that your order has not already been processed and shipped. Please email your exact changes and invoice number to our processing department at info@theperfumecollection.com. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.
How can I cancel an order ?
You may request a cancellation of your order, provided your order has not already been processed and shipped. Please send your cancellation request and invoice number to info@theperfumecollection.com . We will do our very best to cancel the order, and we will send a confirmation upon cancellation. If your account has already been charged, you can anticipate a refund to your account within 1-2 business days.
What if my product is out of stock ?
We try our best to keep all items in stock, but in the event an item you purchased is back ordered or out of stock, we will send you an email or contact you. We will inform you when we expect to receive our restock of the item or we may offer you the item in a different size or package. You can decide to either have us ship it to you, or you will have the opportunity to change or cancel your order.
Returns:
What is your return policy?
- All items must be returned within 14 days of receipt
- All items must be unopened, unused and in the original packaging
- An RMA number must be requested from customer service and included with the returned package (packages without an RMA number will be returned to the sender; please see “How do I return a package?”)
Please note that a 15% restocking fee and S&H will be assessed to all returned products, unless the return is because of our company error. Please be advised body care, hair care and skin care items cannot be returned.
- Original orders over $100: Merchandise returned in full or partial will be assessed a $5.95 shipping charge, unless the total cost of non-returned items remains over $100.00
- Discounts/Coupons: The amount refunded for returned items exclude discounts/coupons
- Damage/Wrong Shipment: Please call us at 1-800-xxx-xxxx within 48 hours of receipt to submit a claim
- Cancelled Orders: Eligible for full refund, including S&H, if cancelled prior to shipping
- Refused Items: A 15% restocking fee and S&H will be assessed accordingly
- Returned To Sender: A $5.95 S&H fee will be assessed unless it was the result of our carrier’s error.
- Missed Scheduled Delivery: A $5.95 redelivery fee may apply if reshipping is requested.
- International Package Returns: A 15% restocking fee and any additional S&H will be assessed accordingly.
Dangerous Goods: Certain items including fragrances, aerosols, and nail polish are considered as dangerous goods by the US Department of Transportation (DOT). We use Standard Ground (surface) delivery method for these products. You are advised not to re-mail the contents of the parcel via the Postal Service under US DOT-SP 9275 regulations. Flammable substances contained in these packages may be mailed only by consumers (the addressee) via surface transportation in accordance with 10.13. Full responsibility rests with the mailer to comply with all postal non-postal statutes and regulations regarding mail. Information regarding postal statutes, regulations, and mailing requirements is available from your local Postmaster and at the Postal Service’s mailing standards website ate www.pe.usps.com
What if I receive my order damaged or short?
Any claims for damaged items or discrepancies (for example: missing items in your order) must be submitted to our Customer Service Department within 24-48 hours after you received the order. Please notify Customer service by either e-mail or call us at: 1-800-xxx-xxxx Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (PST). Please hold on to all packaging material in case an inspection is necessary.l $2.50 per item
How do I return or exchange an item?
Returns/Exchanges are easy. Please follow instructions below:
- Email us or Call us to obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMA). We will email you an RMA number and instructions for the return within 24-48 hours.
- Securely package up the unused item(s) you wish to return or exchange in the original packaging to ship your product.Fill out the approved RMA form that has been emailed or provided to you and include it with your return.
- We recommend that you obtain a delivery confirmation number and insure your returned package. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damage, in transit to our warehouse.
- You need to send the item back prepaid by you within 14 days of receiving it.
- Write your RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.

Holiday Shipping Deadline ?
Exchanges are processed within 5 business days and refunds in 14 business days. S&H charge is non-refundable. Allow at least one complete billing cycle for your refund or credit to appear on your credit card statement. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed. Please note that your financial institution will likely take approximately seven business days to reflect this transaction. If you have any questions about your return, please contact Customer Service.

Do you ship internationally?
We can ship to more than 30 international destinations worldwide. Our preferred carriers are UPS-International or United States Postal Service (USPS). Once the package reaches your country it will be processed and handled by the foreign customs for appropriate clearance. Your package will be delivered by the partnering local Post Office or UPS.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping charges do not include taxes or duties. We recommend that you contact your local customs office to request the details of these charges. If you decide to refuse any shipments from The Perfume Collection, Inc, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties and/or customs charges that are incurred one the package, and the cost of returning the package to The Perfume Collection, Inc. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. Perfume Collection, Inc. Has made every effort to minimize the shipping costs and does not profit from these rates. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package and it contents and cannot alter this valued if you have any shipping and handling questions or comments please contact us.
Dangerous Goods:Perfumery products are classified as dangerous goods.Due to international postal regulations,we are unable to ship these products by Standard Airmail. If your order contains perfumery products, please select International Express shipping method. We will use UPS-International to ship your package. Your package will be cleared and delivered by UPS.
Do you ship to APO/FPO?
We ship to APO/FPO U.S. Military addresses and U.S. Territories. We ship all orders via USPS Priority Mail to APO/FPO U.S. Military addresses and U.S. Territories. We are not able to ship Express service to APO/FPO U.S. Military addresses.Due to world events impacting the United States and other countries, shipments to certain military addresses may be delayed for up 8-10 weeks.
When do you charge my credit card?
When an order is placed, we will attempt to obtain an authorization for the order amount.An authorization will check to see if the card is valid and may reserve the funds. It is not the same as ‘charging’ your card.The order amount is reserved for up to 30 days.We utilize Address Verification Service to verify your credit card billing information.If the bank needs more information, we will send you an email message, or if necessary contact you by telephone. Your card is charged when your package is shipped.
Can you ship to a different address other than my billing address?
Yes, Perfume Collection, Inc allows you to ship to an address other than your billing address.However, we do require that you provide us with the billing address that match’s your card institution’s records. We recommend that you contact your card institution to update them with your approved secondary ship-to-addresses. Please note that orders may be placed on hold if we are unable to confirm the billing information with your credit card bank. If you are using an international/foreign bank credit card, we may require that you provide us with a signed authorization and proper identification to ship your products.

- A statement reading “ I authorize Perfume Collection Inc. to ship my order to the following” (shipping) address, and your billing address

How long will it take before my order ships?
All orders will require 24 – 48 hours for processing time. Orders shipped with express services must be submitted by 1:00 PM Pacific Time Monday thru Friday to be processed the same day. Please note that shipments may be delayed if there is any problem with the verification of your order.

What if I receive a partial order?
We ship directly from our California warehouse. Some items may be shipped direct from our vendors. To prevent any order processing delays, we will ship all in-stock items. You will only be charged for the items you receive. You will not be charged a separate shipping charge for multiple packages. Should an item on your order be out of stock, we will notify either by email or by phone. We may offer you the option to substitute an out of stock item with another item and we’ll be happy to ship the item free of shipping charges.If you order is originally over $100.00 we will honor the shipping charges.
